While planning our own wedding in Joshua Tree, we went deep into the photo booth rabbit hole searching for something elevated, nostalgic, aesthetically aligned… and run by people who felt like our people.

We couldn’t find it.

So we built it ourselves.

Going through the process firsthand made us realize what matters most. Not just how the booth looks, but how it feels in the space. How guests interact with it. How the energy shifts once people relax, let go a little, and start being themselves.

As a detail-oriented person by nature, Dylan became obsessed with creating a booth experience that felt elevated in every way — intentional lighting, thoughtfully designed templates, and images that feel timeless and genuinely high quality.

Oak + Bloom was created for those who want something more intentional — something that elevates the aesthetic, blends naturally into the event, and feels thoughtfully considered from start to finish.

By day, Dylan runs a therapy practice, and Alex works in entertainment — two worlds rooted in reading the room, creating ease, and helping people feel comfortable being themselves. That’s what we bring to every event.
